“Do you know what a homeless person and a millionaire have in common? ...24 hours in a day” Wise words
@nickthomas47114 жыл бұрын
24 Hours to a Rich Man is more comfortable then it is to a poor Man. It's sad to see America turning into another Africa. I'm referring to People living Huts on the Streets and under Bridges. Our Goverment needs to help.

Yep, 24 hours to sit around OR work a job you may hate provided the Governor hasn't shut it down. Then if you have spare time one can always volunteer for non profits like Habitat for Humanity. We are wasting human capital that could be building something for society.
@nickthomas47114 жыл бұрын
@@Hooptierescue what does Rona mean? Obama wanted Socialism which unfortunately didn't happen. You ever noticed how other Countries who are Socialist don't have Homeless People? Their unemployment Rate is incredibly low and their Prison Population is low. Since our wealthy Government is more concearned about helping other Countries then it's own People Society would greatly benifit from having a Socialist Country instead of a Rich Man Poor Man World in America the beautiful. The Poor People would have some recognition or a voice instead of none like we presently live Today. Even Social Security Recipients would get Housing assitance and more Money every Month. If I could move to a Socialist Country and still get my Social Security I would do it.

Awesome video- thank you! I’m really getting into these vids you are posting. You are helping to create awareness around a chronically ill society. There are many reasons for homelessness and we can sit and judge all day long. Truth is, most of us fear the streets for a variety of reasons. I’ve met more intelligent and kind humans on the streets who are more in touch with life in their own way than so-called “leaders” fighting over the best way to “govern” us. We are only as strong as our weakest link in society. Appreciate what you have!

Give more POSITIVE enforcement to those that are homeless and keeping their encampment clean and tidy and minimal like this dude! You did this but let them all know how important to the community it is that they are NOT being more of an eyesore than they are just being there in a tent. Less is best! I'd like to see all those tent people be given a room on a RETIRED CRUISE ship that could be anchored off shore. Let them have their views without being in the way of the public's view. Let them have scheduled visitation to the main land, free meals so no need to generate trash from empty containers. They'd have their own gym, pool, whatever amenities are available for vacationers plus ad staff for the NEEDED MENTAL health care so many of them are currently lacking. Employ them aboard the ship for its maintenance. Have nothing to steal and you won't be stolen from! A mandatory check point to go through before reboarding so that hoarders will be kept in check as well as those that would chose to bring aboard street acquired drugs. This idea would work for those dependant on drugs making daily dosing free and medically supervised. I was mortified by the amount of syringes I came upon when I tried to take my little girl to Venice beach 30 years ago! Mike I like what you are doing interviewing these people, documenting their stories, humanizing the blight! How can society make a space for the needs of these people if its not hearing what it is that they need. I believe if the cost of their drug habits is free and controlled , drug dealers will be put out of business as well as put an end for the need to steal to obtain drugs that they are ADDICTED to.

It breaks my heart to hear the wise words of this man and to know he has to live out there like. You become a product of the outdoors the longer one remains homeless. Leathery ashy skin, a raspy voice, and speaking from the earths psychologian midline are traits of an eccentric homeless person or prisoner. Hell, the millionaire syndrome, as well as the laws of attraction reside on the psychological midline of the world. This is a smart man you are speaking to. Rachel Hines that is very insightful of you. Words and even thoughts carry their own vibration. Mean spiteful or hateful words have diminished erratic vibration, it hurts to even write those words down. As we send those vibrations out into the world it has a ripple and rebound effect on the surrounding environment. This is why chanting beautiful and meaningful words and sounds can have such a powerful healing effect. God bless you and I hope and pray your mom and uncle can find better more effective ways of communicating. In the meantime continue to meditate on beautiful uplifting healing words like love kindness happiness peace and joy! Many blessings. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
