I will remember this match till I nothing but dust. I watched with my grandpa, siblings, and cousins. It was a late night and I was drowsy. I close my eyes for 10-15 minutes because I was sleepy. The funniest part. The German coach at half-time break literally told his team to stop scoring. Because he didn't want to humilate the Brazilian team anymore infront of there country. They STILL scored two more goals even with him telling them that. If he DIDN'T tell them to stop, this game might have with ended with German scoring at 10-12 goals atleast, possibly even more. I watched this game when I was a kid. And even though Brazil eliminated my country (Chile) and in the next game I supported Colombia, I didn't want Brazil to lose like that. As a South American bro I supported they, also Argentina in the final. And I must say that it was very sad for me to watch that game, really sad.

As a Brazilian who always supports the South American team in the Club World Cup, even when they're my local rivals (Santos in 2011, Corinthians in 2012 and Palmeiras in 2021 and 2022), I was one of the few Brazilians I knew who actually wanted to see Argentina beat Germany. Most Brazilians who wanted to see Argentina winning were anti-Seleção and they support Argentina just to be edgy, so they don't count. I was a legitimate Seleção fan and I still wanted to see them lift the trophy after we got eliminated. I'm tired of Europeans dominating the sport. Still, the other part of me knows this result was better lol Argentinians are cocky af and I can't even imagine if out of two World Cups in Brazil, both of them had been won by local rivals.

@@harrywatkins1855 true.. but we both are fans. He has been a Brazilian football fan since forever. I have been German football since 2009 when I went there. So we were just discussing football as fans from 2 different support teams would. We had our own opinion (which we are entitled to, unless forcing on others). So yes compared to Brazilian, I would know jack shit. But from a layman perspective I told him what I felt.

I'm german and i was like most of the brazilians... I couldn't beleave my eyes. I was watching at home with my girlfriend an she is not that into football. So she was at the kitchen cleaning someting and grabbing some food. When Müller made the first goal i was simply cheering but when Klose made the second one i said to her: you have to come over, we are leading 2:0 against brazil, thats crazy... i remember the next 5 minutes simply sitting on the couch with eyes wide open and shouting multiple times she should leave the kitchen and come over "there's someting crazy happening. I don't know what, i don't know how, but it's happening." she came over after the 4:0 and asked how she could have missed so much in just a couple of minutes, i was like: "I absolutly don't know, just enjoy it. This will never happen again"
