ilovemanunited Looking back, I don't really see why I thought it would be close. Man for man, Germany was much better, and Germany's strategy was better, so they were the better team on paper. Plus Brazil had two of their best players missing. I guess it was just because everyone said Brazil would win on home soil, and that influenced me. I'm English and I was supporting Germany. I felt like they deserved to win the world cup more than Brazil, especially as they had reached 2nd and 3rd from 2002-2010.
