OMG. Why did I come across this video and channel only today? I wish I saw this yday. I was sent back from the German Consulate in Chennai today because I didn't carry the DD. I got a DD with more amount and even that was rejected. Its unfortunate the checklist itself or the appointment letter doesn't have this most important info. Does Euro currency rate affect the value of the demand draft..? I mean when DD is created, does the amount have to be in INR or Euro?

​@@gargierawattExactly right. As of now it's 6800 Rupees for the Chennai Consulate. I would still suggest the person to call them or if possible make a visit to the embassy 3 or 4 days before and check the bulletin board outside the embassy. If possible even take an appointment around 11 AM or later. This gives time for any last minute issue. My problem was that the appointment was at 9.15 AM and there were no banks open around that time so I had no chance to get a DD.

Hey Abhi, Well I attached both and they took both. However anyone of them should be okay. Incase of Adhaar card, please print a digitally signed version from UDAI or digi locker. Additionally, I was reading about City registration process, which is the first step to be done once I land in Germany, I believe they do need your Birth Certificate at the moment I am not sure if they accept Adhaar card. It's good to have your Birth certificate corrected just in case :)

You said you have shown 12 months of accomodation proof. Were did you take the same specifically from? And how much did you spend for booking the accomodation for all this 12 months? Hey there, ZAB recognition is required in case your university H- or H+/- So yes for option 2 your qualification/degree certificate followed by ZAB recognition is mandatory

Hey Mehedi, same happened with me looks like some glitch in the portal I also used to login using the Activation link And now since my appointment is complete I can even use the activation link probably have to activate again So don’t worry you will get an email from vfs with a link to login and book your appointment

VFS will send you appointment slots on first come first serve basis So the only tip which works best is you register yourself to be in waitlist even if your documents are not ready Once you are already waitlist you will have enough time to arrange your documents. Also in case you are not ready when they send you email, you can still choose to continue to stay in waitlist and wait for next appointments Please don’t pay any agent to get you slots etc because none can bypass this process

Hi Dhinesh, average wait time is about 15 days to 3 months. Yes you will get an email from vfs to book your appointment within 48 hours, so please keep checking spam folder as well, if you don’t book your appointment in 48 hours since the mail was triggered you will be put back in wait list and the waiting clock starts again

It Solely depends on your confidence in preparing your file… if I have shared all the important information that will help you prepare your file and interview process However you must write a good motivational letter as mentioned in the video You don’t need a consultant as I did things myself A consultant will only help you with guidance everything else has to be done by you. Consultant can not help you getting an appointment they can only book it for you Decision is made by embassy based on your documentation and performance at the time of interview Final decision is yours. A Health insurance is mandatory which meets all the criteria mentioned by German embassy Travel usually is only necessary for first couple of months because you health insurance in Germany will take few weeks to be activated I took the health insurance from Expatrio as recommended by German embassy and to me surprise Expatrio gave me a free travel insurance for first 90 days They will also give you necessary letter to show to the embassy in PDF Hence I recommend Expatrio as my experience was smooth

Hi Shravan, there are many templates available online… most of the websites provide you with free basic templates And in my knowledge the basic format works the best Please avoid using unnecessary paragraphs stick to 1-2 pages max. Keep your skills and experience to the point not need to add entire roles and responsibilities, keep it precise it helps ATS as well as the recruiter to understand your top skill set just by a quick scan of your profile Avoid using CVs with photographs, It is accepted in Germany however ATS can find it difficult to read in some cases and hence result in rejection. Hey Abhishek, in your case Both Bachelors and masters degree can be submitted. if you are able to see your BCOM University as H+, then you can apply with Option 1 otherwise you must go through ZAB to verify your bachelors as Equivalent to German degree and prepare your file as per point based system option 2

hey there, Thank you. 1. No language proof is required. You could submit if you would like to as additional supporting documents. 2. wait time can vary between 15 days to 4 months. Remote work: You can apply for opportunity card while you are working at your current job and can resign once your visa gets approved. In case you would like to continue to work remotely then if caught there can be legal consequences as in order to work from a foreign country you do need Legal rights(Germany has freelancers visa for that) Additionally once you land in Germany you will have to go through immigration officer and it depends on them what they want to ask you. You can be denied access even then. So be careful. I can only give you a perspective on things based on my knowledge final decision is yours 3. Last 3 months bank statement can be shown as a proof of funds Hope this helps

In OD(original degree)University mentioned like it's original degree (regular)they are providing, then why should we have to take bonafide certificate, if I was requesting them to give bonafide they were saying its already mentioned as regular degree

As per my knowledge people who graduated after 2015 have it written in their degree already as UGC made it mandatory Hence you should not need it If they ask you can say the same it’s already mentioned

You can pay in INR either DD or Cash(only delhi and Bangalore) I paid about 6500/6800(don’t remember exact)in cash in Delhi I am going to talk about Proof of funds in my next video clarifying all your doubts

@@ukshahrukh hey Shahrukh, if you degree certificate says that you completed a regular BTech etc from Pune university then you don’t need this letter Mostly people who have completed their engineering after 2015 have it already written on their degree certificate If you don’t then you just have to go to your university and ask for a bonafide letter, if you need a sample letter DM me on Instagram I will share

@@shaik.karimulla932 Please understand Opportunity card Visa is not a travel visa, it is called as National Visa for long term stay in Germany hence the basic requirement is to have a Public/private Health Insurance and because German Health insurance only gets activated once you complete your city registration in Germany, you must have a travel insurance to cover you for the first few weeks until you activate your health insurance So yes , please buy a health insurance and submit that as part of your application. You do not have to buy it from VFS, please do make sure the insurance that you buy meets all the criteria listed by German embassy. Failing to adhere will result in visa rejection. I have come to know few visas already got rejected in Bangalore due to wrong insurance plan. In my opinion Expatrio is Cheap and easy to buy. Moreover German embassy recommend Expatrio. Final decision must be yours

Hi Kiran, since your university is H+ I would advise you to get a Statement of compatibility from ZAB for your course MSc Once you get statement of comparability you can certainly go with Option 1

If your university is H+ and you can get print out of your degree course BCA from Anabin, then you are eligible for option 1. You can attach relevant work experience however it’s not mandatory but definitely makes your case stronger

Hey Shruthi since I registered for waitlist in the first 2 days of opportunity card launch date, I got my appointment in less than 10 days. Wait list work on First come first serve basis

@@shruthigowda1377 yes VFS is the only way to apply for visa appointment. Once the slot opens you will get an email and 48 hours to book your appointment. Usually the booking window will be for immediate 1-2 weeks with limited dates If you don’t book an appointment in 48 hours they will put you back in the waitlist

yes i watch a video in which a person was explaining chancenkarte and in comment section there was the same question as you asked and he replied with yes because affiliated institution is campus of umiversity and degree is issued by university so it's same thing
