Should you ever travel to the south of Germany..... For me, the most beautiful Christmas market in the Ravenna Gorge in the Black Forest. In Esslingen (near Stuttgart) there is also a great medieval market & Christmas market.

There are no potatoes in Spätzle (Kässpätzle), but more eggs than in normal noodles. Schupfnudeln, also known as Bubenspitzle*, on the other hand, contain potatoes, half dough and half potato, similar to gnocchi. *means little Pe.is of little Boys 😊
