Very true. Germany is very dirty when compared to Spain....but Spain is more of an exceptiok than the norm, so Germany is like most other older European countries in cleanliness/garbage.
@MYTravelBF2 күн бұрын
After having visited Spain again, there are definitely parts of cities that area clean, usually the centers with tourists, but other pats can be very dirty, even dirtier than Germany. Overall, we don't find Germany that dirty and think it's pretty clean. We do get annoyed with the broken bottles on the street in the mornings though😅

Koblenz has it‘s beautiful corners and some nice streets in the old town. But as many German cities it suffered from the aftermath of WW2 and the rush to rebuild the inner city again.
@MYTravelBF5 күн бұрын
The old town is still pretty beautiful, but you’re right. There are other parts that were quickly rebuilt to be functional and aren’t the prettiest. Overall, Koblenz was a wonderful city to visit!

@MYTravelBF2 күн бұрын
It is if you're in a smaller city, but since this video was made, prices have gone up and it's really probably just enough to get by if you're frugal with spending. We'd recommend coming with a savings and not expecting to save a lot. However, I believe the program has increased the salary now and you're allowed to work part-time as a student.

Well, the smoking.... it's your home country that brought the Marlboro-Man ;) Smoking ist getting more and more less. The Tax on cigarettes ist already high and getting higher every few years. The vending machines for cigarettes also getting rare meanwhile. So, maybe in a few years it's different. ;)

Hopefully it's different in a few years. It's something we really don't care for in Germany. That being said, there are plenty of things we love about Germany too!

great video! how much time do you think you'd need in bamberg if you are traveling around germany for the first time? (9 days, landing in berlin and departing from munich) thanks!
@MYTravelBF12 күн бұрын
Thank you! We spent about 2 days in Bamberg. You could probably do it in less if you have a lot of other places you want to visit. Depending on how quickly you want to move around, you could spend a full day and a night in Bamberg and see most of the sights in that time.

Well, obviously you like Hanover, why not. But if you are searching for better weather regions in Germany visit the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.They have more than twice as much sunny days as Lower Saxony. Especially the winegrowing areas there are spoilt by the sun. For example the Rhine, Moselle and Ahr Valleys, but also Rheinhessen, and highly recommended, the southern part of the state, Palatinate. Now i'm living in Berlin (weather don't ask!) for almost 20 years, but i continue to be sad remembering the time in this wonderful region!

Good video 👍, question i do feel german people are repressed people not that happy ones as Spanish people or italian, how is that, true or false?
@MYTravelBF12 күн бұрын
Thank you! We wouldn't use the word repressed, but Germans are generally not as friendly and a little colder at first compared to Spaniards. That can change the longer you know them though, at least in our experience.
@Khalid2024.17 күн бұрын
Great video, thank you Bro. Want to ask you, with the salary amount you are getting or used to get in spain can you have a good life or matter of surviving as long you had that experience, thank you.
@MYTravelBF12 күн бұрын
With the amount we made in Spain through the Auxiliar de Conversación program, you can basically break even. A "good quality of life" is always subjective to one's own experiences. We were able to save a little bit over the course of the year, but watched our spending otherwise and came with a savings. If you go to a smaller city, where the cost of living in lower, you can probably have a higher quality of life from a buying power perspective.

@@MYTravelBF It has a history many don't know. Long before it was the Lennon Wall it was the Love Wall, where students mostly would write notes about peace and love on the wall. It wasn't until 1980, I think, when a mural of John Lennon was painted on the wall and a rainbow, and it became the Lennon Wall.
