Here is a fun little fact about the PZ-4 variants. The F2 and G have a worse gun then the H and J. F2 and G both have the L/43 barrel while the H and J have the L/48. What this means in game is that on the PzGr 39 your round is 30m/s faster so it is slightly easier to aim and you get 8mm more pen. That 8mm doesn't seem like a lot, but in my experience it is the difference between killing that T-34 or Sherman front on and bouncing.

You really have to play this tank. It's the FV4202, a british medium tank that is very modern looking because it's actually an early prototype of the Chieftain. it uses the 20-pounder gun, and it's pretty fun (day 41)

that 3v1 at the end should be studied to find out just how many strokes, heart attacks, organ failures, and other stoppages of major bodily functions that m36 and IS-2 had to have to lose that. Like the T34 could've mg your track, the IS-2 could've done literally anything other than just give you a free side shot, the m36 should've known you were there since he just watched you shoot the T34's track, and then when he does shoot you, he somehow only got your turret ring and then just sat there instead of running away to cover. The fall of the Roman Empire cannot compare to the absolute nincompoops that just fumbled that. Edit: just did the math, that engagement went on for 28 seconds before you shot the IS-2. The IS-2's reload is 27 seconds, meaning he MUST have been reloaded since he also had full crew.

There was also a puff of smoke coming out the IS-2’s barrel after Spookston exits binos, meaning the tank fired at 14:17 and missed. since you said the ratel 90 wasn't bad, you should play the objectively awful ratel version; the ratel 20. it has the same bad mobility as the 90, but with the same weapons as the marder IFV, which doesn't sound bad at first, until you realise you're expected to fight king tigers and jumbo pershings with 7 slow moving ATGMs and an autocannon that can't even pen a panther's side (day 25)

I remember when the Panzer 4 H was 4.7, it did decent at the BR against the vehicles (added during the time) and held it's own still, sure the gun doesn't always pen, but that's what flanking is for.

You also have to realize that stuff like US stabilizers were way weaker (they worked up to 14 km/h if I'm not mistaken, now it's 24 km/h). Additionally, the US 76 mm was weaker than the German 75 mm when it came to penetration with the APHE round. That's no longer the case. There are likely other changes that aren't coming to me since its been that long.

Day 52 of telling spookston to play the IT1. its a ATGM launcher on the t62 chassis, it has decent-ish mobility, the turret is squished. You can hide behind cover and shoot ATGM over the cover like a gremlin and you overpressure tanks (tho it can be rare, but it does happen without you realizing) and its MG is really werid. Also it has a cool reload animation.

Try the Fiat/Ansaldo M11/39. It has everything low tier Italy has to offer. Bad armor, bad speed. The 37mm gun has APHE, but its casemated. Best of luck. (attempt 61)

Hey spookston. I know you like speedy tanks with apfsds and stabilizer so i think you should play the French AMX-32 with the 120. Its a MBT that goes 75 KMH backwards and foward. Its armor is quite low but those thermal sights man. They are insane!. I also recommend you try to the SK105A2. Basically the AMX-13 but with APFSDS and alot more features.

Usually you back up and reload so you don't get barrel sniped. But, if you are going to be brave, the approach was so retarded. You should be trying to push him off your teammate so he can't shoot him.
