Interesting game-code fact: Because "fire" is technically impossible currently in video games, it has to be modelled as invisible projectiles with a fire effect attached to it. In other words, the flamethrower weapon fires full-auto projectiles with a fire effect, and you can see the individual projectiles in this video. Then special damage parameters are attached to it.

An envoy had come out of the wood but would not accept the terms of surrender given him. Crocodiles were then used and the first shot of flame yielded about 50 prisoners. Further shots of flame on dug-outs, gun pits, trenches and houses, yeilded bunches of prisoners up to a total of 250" I got these from some British documents and now is perfect time to share. 2:33 I agree that British cruiser tanks like the Cromwell and Comet are a joy to use because of just how much pen and speed they have. My gripe with British tanks aren't necessarily the heavies because they at least have very reliable armor, but more of just how dodgy British MBTs are. Most of them are as slow as a heavy tank but as armored as a light tank, and despite being equipped with excellent guns, they have low magnification optics that makes long range shooting a lot harder than it should be. And this is all on top of the fact that a lot of them are put in BRs that are almost maliciously designed to screw you over, like how so many Centurions sit at 7.7 where they frequently face 8.0-8.7 tanks that are faster, do more damage, has better armor, and are equipped with laser rangefinders, but a full downtier to 6.7 still puts you in a position to fight tanks that you cant even frontally pen.
@Jump-Shack22 күн бұрын

I think people shoot at the trailer because in most first person shooters, shooting an enemy’s flamethrower turns them into fuel-air bombs, so they assume the same applies to the Crocodile (this isn’t even a good assumption to make anyway, because real flamethrowers also don’t explode when shot; they just leak fuel or knock the user over if the air tank gets hit).
@Lykas_mitts22 күн бұрын
So just small note for the croc; if you use the "switch/select machineguns bind" it only controlls the flamer in the hull. Useful when you're attempting to roast someone, you don't have to waste time bringing the main gun back down slowly to aim at other targets that might pop up.
