Today we are going on a day trip to Weimar, Germany, which is the birthplace of the Bauhaus art movement and the stomping ground for some of Germany's most revered literary figures.

Nice vid ! Any specific reason why you left out the two downtown houses of Goethe and Schiller ? There is another Bauhaus museum in Dessau (which is where the Bauhaus moved in 1924 because the political situation became too bad in Weimar) totally worth the visit if that topic interests you.

The only reason I left them out was that I was in Weimar for such a short time, and yes, I read about the Dessau Bauhaus movement, it's so interesting! I might just take a visit:) And perhaps another trip to Weimar, there really is so much to see. Thanks again for your comment and happy traveling!
