The reason Korea came on strong and Germany falter at the end was because it was extremely hot in Dallas and whereas the Koreans were used to this sort of weather....Germany was severely hindered by it. This South Korean squad also tied Spain and should have beaten Bolivia if not for the countless wasted opportunities by Hwang Sun Hong who scored the first goal here and would later miss the 1998 World Cup due to injury by a Chinese player right when he was in peak form/age and later score the magical first goal vs Poland in 2002 as a 34 year old. This iteration of Korea had 3 stars. The two who scored (M.B. Hong), the eternal libero and second greatest asian defender ever after Kim Min Jae, (S.H. Hwang) the greatest Korean target striker ever who scored 50 goals for the national team and the second-best striker in Asia in the 90s after Ali Daei and Kim Joo Sung, the midfield maestro and the first iteration of largely what Park Ji Sung would later go on to do for South Korea

M B Hong's goal was fantastic However his position was sweeper, center back, he was useless when S.Korea team lost 3 goals He was not good defence leader so that Germany could 3 goals easily.

The Korean defense was suspect, yes, but goalkeeper Choi Il-Yong was even worse. The 2nd and 3rd German goals could have been saved by a better goalkeeper. The Korean coach recognized this and brought on 21-year-old Lee Wong-Jae in the second half. Lee's first test was a rasping ground shot from Lothar Mattheus, which he passed with flying colors. When the Koreans realized they now had a better goalkeeper, they attacked the Germans with more confidence. In the first half, they were more worried about their fumbling keeper than their attack. Interestingly, Lee Wong-Jae would go on to become South Korea's starting keeper at both the 2002 and 2006 World Cups.

The referees always favor Germany. Germany deserved at least a red card, on the first match the referee favored them too. Fortunately Bulgary won against them.

The germans seem to have slacked off in the second half, i imagine if they blowed that lead it would've been an even bigger embarrassment of an upset than the one the Bulgarians gave them.

Germany deserved the win very clear ,German could win at less 4-2 ,but Germany were not strong in 1994 as in 1990.
