Cheers mate, I've been all over Sydney trying to ask people how to convert my Gerni but no one was able to give me the answer, including Bunnings. So I used your affiliate link and bought it right away. It should get to me in two weeks. Once I can see that it fits, then I will buy a short stubby gun next. I'm REALLY HOPING that this will solve my issue, as I've been running around for almost 2 months. Thanks again.

I wish I watched this video before buying the whole short trigger gun kit off AliExpress, now I'm finding myself having to find an adaptor from the Gerni hose to the new trigger gun. But If I could have just used the original gun, I would have been happy with that...

Have you found the use of the 1/4 quick connect nozzles reduces the water pressure compared to the OEM lance + nozzles? It seems this is the case with my Gerni 7000 - the output doesn't seem as pressurised, as if the 1/4 jets were designed for higher pressure/water flow (such as with industrial/petrol pressure washers). They still do an awesome job and enable a lot more manoeuvrability, but I've found myself to be hitting the same stuff a lot harder and closer than with the original lance and jet fittings. I've been trying to find a shorter lance that is compatible with the OEM nozzles, or more constricted quick release nozzles but haven't had much luck yet. Please let me know your thoughts!

I have to admit that I mainly use the OEM lance and nozzles and not the 1/4 QC ones so I really can't comment on comparison, as I haven't really tested it that thoroughly. Seemed powerful enough for my needs when I did this video though.

The spray nozzles were from my old cheap water jet but these are available for cheap from online places like TEMU or AliExpress. 👍👍
