Thank you Anders for playing this song for your friend Mike Zito at his wife’s funeral. And thank you for writing such a beautiful song.

The video, every time I watch it, I think of my best friends sister. That is her tomb featured with the girl placing the glass marbles on there. I remember when the family talked about this video and how everyone was so glad to see Allison's light shown in video for all to see. You did, encapsulated perfectly. While her earthly body is gone, she still makes sure her presence is felt all the time with her new nephews and family. They never got to know her, but her memory lives on forever! Love this so much.

"Many of the songs on American Patchwork deal with healing and redemption, spirituality and acceptance. It is about rebuilding what has been destroyed, not only a ravaged city, but also a hollow man." - Anders Osborne's website "Biography" This song has a beautiful spirit. Thank you Anders for writing it.

Beautiful song! Really moving and well done. I saw him in Hattiesburg in December, I enjoyed it but they played too loud (with Luther Dickinson). Wish they would have done more of these kinds of songs.
