Why God?! Why did you take away the greatest striker ever from us?! WHY? I can't but not leave out my heart and soul infront of the screen when watching him play. So much enthusiasm he provides, but I'm left heartbroken every time he fails to score especially while reading all those terrible comments on the web and critics also. I want this guy back!!! As a fellow Torres fan you must understand how I felt when I wrote that. I do have reasons to believe that his time is yet to come again. He only did play around 60 minutes durring the preseason, but those runs that he made, that burst of pace and incredible strength are back again. Time for the fallen to rise! @Robbie Nicholson, You've obviously not followed Liverpool for long. Suarez was bought before Fernando was sold, actually originally intended to be his strike partner. In the days following Suarez purchase Torres put in a transfer request & we then got Carrol as his replacement.

Didn't happen, unsurprisingly. Torres left Liverpool with a bitter taste in his mouth and Suarez pretty much had the same feeling (maybe not for Liverpool, but he didn't like the UK press)... A shame that they didn't link up for at least one season--that would likely have been magical!
