Torres ability was superhuman, but his finish was not topnotch. During his prime time at Liverpool he regularly gained 3-4 great chances per game due to superior ability, but would waste most of them. He was like Earling Haaland plus skills minus finish.

Rio and Vidic defence partnership was considered the best in the league, if not the world at that point of time, but Torres was one of the few world class strikers that demolished Man Utd’s defence. Torres is easily one of the most nostalgic footballers ever. He just played to enjoy and was amazing on the field. An absolute star for Liverpool in his first season. His dribbling and quickness were unreal and his chemistry with Gerrard was even better. Such a game changer and a great and a legendary goal scorer. Always managed to score against us (Man Utd fan). Like him a lot better than cannibal and Salah. Won Spain World Cup and Euro Cup. What else can you say? Easily the best number 9 for Liverpool.

Torres' peak years were from 07-10 and his best individual award performance was 3rd place in both the Balon D'or and World Player standings in 2008.

No! There were several better. His own country mate, David Villa, was better. Then there was Drogba who actually won EPL topscorer. Torres never won it. He was a great Liverpool striker. That's it. In the world, I could count several.

But Torres missed many more clear chances. He is more like Cavani. He scores because he gets loads of chances. His recent form is actually proof.

The only people who legitimately “consider” Liverpool fans the “worst fans” are fans of rival teams. That’s just tribalism at its most primal. Fans calling themselves the best and others the worst instead of being good ol sports and understanding that there are horrid Liverpool fans equally as much as there are horrid Man U fans.
