What a great treasure to discover ,, here :))) I wasn't born when, this great song & the wonderful singers gave life to it ,, but my wonderful Irish Grandmothe , who loved all music had so many of the oldies ,, in her Record collection .. I was able to play a few before going Overseas , but my Sister & I cataloughed them , never got the opportunity to listen to many of them ... She's the original Shirelle. I believe she died some years ago from cancer. She was the voice with the original grouping when she sang lead on "Dedicated to the One I Love" and she also did a great job on the song "Blue Holiday." She had the more soulful voice out of the other three. I am not sure what happened around this time with her singing the group's song with these ladies, but who knows. That's show business for you.

I am so confused. How many Shirelles groups are there? Beverly Lee owns the copyright after suing to establish her ownership. So the only legitimate group would be The Shirelles starring Beverly Lee.
