Water in all forms is my favourite part of being here. I feel bereft without it near me. Luckily here in NZ one is never far from being near its pleasures, whether it be the sea, rivers or lakes. I am blessed 🙏🏼

You are outdoing yourself with each and every video. Love the sound recordings and your musings...I can relate to some of those same feelings I had during my camino. That walk from Samos to Sarria is just so beautiful...but wow, you walked far this day. I stopped in Barbadelo. Slow down ;)...your camino is now going way too fast :). Thank you once again for all the work you are putting into your videos.

thank you so much Danielle! I wish i could pack everything into these daily videos… but it’s just not possible. I kept passing out during the editing of this video 😄 and the next ones might be less… deep.. there’s just less around here. we’ll see! glad you can relate to them!

Again another lovely video! So glad you walked this magic path from Samos connecting over to the San Xil route. I’ve done this one twice, years ago at first by mountain-trekking bike (difficult!), second time by foot … however without any breakfast whatsoever as everything was still closed. Arriving in Sarria we were like wolves. It’s great to remember all this when watching your videos. And, I must say, you were so lucky to escape the big crowds of pilgrims leaving from Sarria and that you had some more of the Camino to yourself. Mixed feelings at the 100km mark, yes I know all about it. The only thing that helps (a bit) is planning to go on … to Finisterre (where you must go and visit the beach Mar do Fora this time as it is the best … and possibly on to Muxia. It’s beautiful there, too. So, go for it, if you have the time. It’s worth it. 😊

yes, that bit is extra special and feels like being in a phantasy movie set… amazing. but without breakfast I would have collapsed! 😁🥶 Yes i hope i can go on to Finisterre and Muxia.. not entirely sure yet but it must work.. thanks Kater!

yes headphones are great for experiencing the sounds more intensely… I focused a lot more on the audio in this new series
