As someone who saw this in glorious black and white when it first aired in NY back in the 60's, I can't stop grinning! The build is fantastic! Please do another one with Supercar's "flying" wires!

Excellent work! I had bought a metal Supercar model and had the same thought of building the laboratory to scale then have it move up and playing the theme song. I don't know if I will be able to get that project done as I grow older. I loved this show when it was on. It has inspired me to be an inventor. At one point I was going to see if I could actually build a working Supercar, but I would have needed 2 jet engines to try and power it.

I've seen all the episodes of Supercar, It never went underwater in any of the episodes, eventhough is says in the song that it can.

@@southeastgasservices My issue was always with the words in the song, "It travels on land", because it never actually did. It either flew or went underwater. There were no wheels either. (I knew this because I had a Corgi model). 😉

@@snowwhitehair485 Episode Grounded Supercar is being fitted with a new portable control unit at JFP Electronics Ltd in England when disgruntled employee Harper and his assistant Judd break into managing director J Farleigh Prothero’s safe and steal the control unit’s printed circuits. When the theft is discovered, the Supercar team dissuade Prothero from calling in the police so as to avoid publicity. Then Harper calls Beaker to admit the theft and inform him that he will be leaving the country in one hour from a flying club at Monk’s Norton near Birmingham, Mike prepares to set off in Supercar to intercept the villains, but he discovers that Harper has sabotaged the vehicle’s starboard wing leaving Supercar grounded! The solution was to fly by "hovering" just over the roadway" rather than "fly." The look from the other drivers they Mr. Mercury passed was, to say the least, priceless. :)
