J'ai assisté il y a une semaine au concert de Band of Friends à Rapperswil en Suisse - c'était un concert exceptionnel et j'ai été extrêmement émue d'avoir pu revivre un grand nombre de reprises de Rory interprétées par ce trio de musiciens talentueux; merci à Gerry Mac Avoy d'avoir eu cette idée épatante de former ce "Band of Friends" et de continuer à nous faire apprécier ces morceaux de grande qualité.

Where was Gerry The last years Rory lived ...and toured ? He had another band...

Yeah it was all a bit odd rory wanted him to stay I his band but Jerry wanted o branch out so I heard however rorys 9o's band were good with some young blood there pity it did not last very sad ending still cannot get overrorys demise a real hero of mine watch him every day and listen to all the tracks he was the greatest fantastic voice and of course his guitar playing was heavenly I wonder what rory thought about Jerry leaving?

Rory was e great performer and guitarist...but also a big drinker...nobody speaks about that. Why ?

Why talk about drinking when you can talk about all of the wonderful music he made? Besides, alcohol wasn't really that much of a big deal for Rory, many others drink much more and are still fine.
