After growing up with kubota being small compact tractors, they've definitely pulled their socks up over the last few years. I'm still a fan of a lump of an engine rather than a little engine having to work hard... I think that's still true for modern ones if the electronics allow. Nice to see there making the cabs a kind of 'standard' with other brands as well

Its a buyers market out there now with the competition between brands now Gerry. As in brands trying to get up there with the top few. Looks like a nice well laid out tractor with plenty of extras and plenty of technology built in. I suppose the price will determine how many of them enter the countryside till they get established here.

@@jerryodriscoll3691 yes when any maufacturer has to break into a New market they often keep their price competitive to get somewhat of a foothold. If they prove to have a good reliable product they will be able to increase their price as time goes on. For someone in the market for a new tractor now could be the time to have a look at one of them.

yeah and its great kubotas are real great feul enfishioned but right now my kubota dealer is out of stock again so he has to order more shipment of them again to fill the yard up 3rd time this year because selling alot faster then deere and newholland wich kubota here in canada are less and newholland and deere dealer here are 50%more wich rediculas here

It around sand size as our 6420. Tank and a half to do 50 hours on the clock. Some hard work on a power harrow

They are a fine tractor. And being Kubota will be super reliable. Only thing I have heard folk complain about is the tiny swept area of the front wiper. Also, don't get one with the small hydraulic pump. I have a new Deere 5125R on order since Xmas with everything the factory can put on it(I have a steep wet farm), won't get it until August, providing Trump doesn't close the factory in Augusta, Georgia. Price of new tractors in Ireland, particularly a well specced one like this, seems to be a well kept secret, unless the salesman thinks you're serious :) What about height over cab Gerry for getting into older buildings?

To be honest it never rained when I had it so with know a bout the wiper coverage. But everything else I found impressive. Pump on this 1 must have been larger 1 as it was set up for a front end loader. That’s true about price. Unless ur actually buying nobody says. Cab is taller. Slightly Taller then 6930 even. Wasn’t an issue for us as all our sheds are high but could be an issue for some.

I had a vario model on demo,nice tractor but the problem is the price,both newholland and massey are actually cheaper which are established brands,kobota themselves dont seem to keen to sell,the joystick let's it down alot,it just feels cheap compared to all the other brands I looked at NH,Mf,JD,ect.

I was suprised. I had an inkling they be good. Knew they had all Bosch electrical and hydraulic systems and that engine was good but was suprised by the rest of it. Cab layout, ease of use. Power. Stability. Loved it.

Zetor Boards I done over 50 hours on a tank and a half of fuel. Has similar size tank as 6420. Small tank. Easy easy tractor on fuel

At the moment that is an issue... but I remember when valtra came out with 6400 in mid 90s. Resale value initially was poor until they got the reputation that they were bulletproof. So that will improve on the kubota too I feel over next few years.

@@gerry6420 Same for claas tractors. I test drove Massey, Case, New Holland & John Deere but went with class in the end as it is a lovely loader tractor. All others were more expensive before you add on the extras that come as standard on the cheeper Claas. You are paying for "holding it's value" but if you keep your tractor serviced & don't wreck it then it will hold it's value no matter what make it is.

Christopher Sheridan no matter what you buy it’s going to depreciate in first few years. A Massey case or new holland at 100k is only worth 50 after 3 years. Only difference is your in at less money. Our 6930 is worth with in 3 grand of what we paid for it 6 years ago.... show me another brand that you can say that about 🤷‍♂️

Never driven a Kubota except for a little compact and an out front mower, quite liked them though. Let's hope to see some other makes an appearance.
