A reorchestration of Gerudo Valley from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It was originally composed by Koji Kondo, and therefore all rights go to him and to Nintendo.
Ahhhh Gerudo Valley... such a timeless, legendary theme - considered by many to be the greatest song in Ocarina of Time and even the greatest song Koji Kondo has ever composed, and honestly it's very easy to see why. The catchy guitar lead, those repeating guitar and percussion rhythms urging the song onwards, perfectly capturing the spirit of a thieves' fortress in a near-unhospitable wasteland of a desert perfectly and able to not only survive repeated listening time after time, but then also get stuck in your head VERY easily! I personally have always loved this theme ever since playing Ocarina when I was much, much younger and I'd just LOVE to see it return to the series someday. FUN FACT: an obscure anime called Dodge Danpei features a track called Mido Arashi's Theme that may possibly have served as inspiration for Mr. Kondo - it was released in 1991, whereas OoT was released in 1998 so who knows?
And so another decade begins! Hope you've all been well, and thank you so SO much for continuing to listen to my orchestrations! It really means the world to me and I appreciate every single one of you!
