He is, this bad guy image is a total misconception. He gets over excited when he plays and this is seen as arrogance or aggression towards his opponent, which it's not. It's just confidence in his own ability and all top sportsman/women have this confidence of invincibility about them.

Gerwyn and Jonny Clayton are said by other professional players to be two of the nicest guys in the PDC. I understand the compassion Gerwyn plays with. I used to get excited just playing my mates in my house, so imagine what it's like at his level. I get the crowd booing too, but too often they take it too far.
