That will depend on your taste. Somd prefer it sweeter than others. Add a cup if you like and you can always add more later or even condensed milk.

It is a desert. It could also be make with milk instead of water. You can also make it saucy or not. There are plenty variations and it is totally up to you and what you like.

This is actually a dessert-popular in Indian homes too. If u want a richer, creamier version you can add fresh cream and condensed milk instead of sugar, along with nuts, sultanas etc. Because it is so rich, you can eat it with Nestle Cream or Vanilla ice-cream if you prefer.
