We need to be showing this at all our parishes!. There is a lot here I did not know and it would add so much to the reverence of the Mass. What a beautiful priest, to care enough to say things that many will not want to hear. Praise God!

now that I left a comment on part 1 about the erroneous actions of others, this one convicted me of things I've been doing wrong! Thanks again, father!

Even before Covid there has been no holy water at the entrance of the catholic churches Ive gone to. So sad.

In that case carry your own holy water.

Our parish resembles a protestant get together, it's shameful. The priest does nothing about it. He himself never appears as a priest except during Mass. No collar ever. There is no other option but N O Masses around us

We used to genuflect when the priest (Jesus) passed our pew, after Mass. I genuflect when he enters, also.

I bow my head at the Name of Jesus every time I say, read, hear or sing It. I also bow myhead at the name of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the saint of the day or the parish's patron saint, but only during the Mass. I bow my head at Jesus' Name, no matter where I am.

Thank you for this. I do have a question concerning making the sign of the cross. I still remember the nun in 1st grade teaching me how to do this. She took and formed my hands to show me how. My left hand on my chest, but my right hand she formed my index, middle and thumb (index and middle fingers extended) together explaining that this represents the Holy Trinity. Not to date myself, but this was in the early 70s. Is this wrong?

You need to read the Catechism! Also listen to Apparition’s of the Blessed Virgin!! I really you are a Protestant! Because that kind of attitude doesn’t belong in the RC Church!!

Sorry, Eric but, with all due respect, that's a silly remark. We could dismiss everything on the basis that Jesus wouldn't mind. Indeed, during the 1970s "Oh, it doesn't matter" was a common retort and excuse to not bother - despite the Second Vatican Council restoring conscious active participation. I'm sure that almost everyone who watches these instructional videos (you - who apparently see it only as rules, being the exception), heard Father explain why we have the rubric. He also explained some of the theology attached to it. If you find it beneath you - thereby putting yourself above the priest who also exercises the rubric, to exercise unity in the public worship, that says more about your pride than it does about the rubric - and Jesus would mind about that.

God wants us to worship Him in the way HE wants. There's rules and we follow.
@alanpontet167119 күн бұрын
@@picklej5313 agreed. In the Old Testament there is even a section on how to do the liturgy - instruction from God.
