Noticed a little symbol next to the boss icons when they give something special but I guess since these are from the chest by them they aren't labeled. Should make note of any other areas that have useful guaranteed items

I think that all zones with skulls have guaranteed drops when you kill it in chess behind them

I have a sneaking suspicion that if you don't get that initial jewellers orb in act 3, they don't drop. I'm level 50+ and haven't had a single jeweller drop.

I missed it at first and eventually dropped one in act 4/cruel. I think they are just stupid rare

i got my first on a random drop in act 2 so probably just mad rare

I killed these and must have missed the chest cause i never got the orb, went back and killed them again and didn't get one. Got 2 from random drops later in act 3

Im pretty far into act 3, no orbs yet, and nothing dropped from that zone. I have been to that camp and no, nothing there.

This is far from a guarantee. Cleared this zone multiple times, no orb.

And here i am thinking that removing jewelers and fusings would be a QOL... silly me, imagine wanting to properly try out a new skill but being bottlenecked by jewelers, now after seing this and the disaster that is called Trials i kind of was too tough on Poe 1 Lab and socketing/linking your items.

you can also trade extra regal orbs for lesser jewelers in act 1 cruel

After completing the Halani Shrine essence of water quest on cruel difficulty in act2, I broke all the jars in the small room near the goddess and got a greater jewelers orb drop from one of the jars, which I feel is too early to drop at that stage... could this be another guaranteed drop?

Definitely not guaranteed. On act 3 normal and it didn't drop.

Idk how i got so lucky even though im hard stuck on act 2 boss but i got a jeweller farming the final dreadnaught zone, but gearing is just impossible in act 2 so i might have to reroll to progress any further

get like 50lightning res, face hug him, and circle him, becomes very easy then, just watch out for the sword slam in phase, its very hard to dodge if you are next to him

@g76agi it was just too hard with spark I farmed gold and swapped to cold skills and killed him first try
