For the record the uncut support gems do tell you if you have a copy of it on your character already but only if they are in your inventory when you activate them. They don't when used from the stash because your allowed to have copies in the stash.

I spent all day making a new warrior. I collected every blue, yellow, and some white drops. I was surprised that i COULD pick up every drop, everything of value, and sold it, or kept the good stuff. I made 120k gold and saved all my crafting orbs, runes, and skill gems. It only took 6 hours, but that was just act 1, 2, and atart of 3. Just goes to show that with time there is no shortage of stuff to build stronger.

save your uncut skill gems turn them into gems, then corrupt them (you may get an extra socket for free)

No need to disenchant magic items since you get more than enough magic orbs, but you will never have enough gold. Sell those magic items instead. Always pick up socketed/quality items for salvage and disenchant rares you aren't going to use.

Why would anyone wait to disenchant? That's like the most important thing you can do to gear up from the jump.

They wait because they don't know what is it.

Yeah early game, disenchant/dismantle socketed items as much as possible. Allows you to get regals to upgrade to rares, artificer orbs to get rune slots, to then use runes to pad resistances or add life. Even getting 20% cold resistance makes a huge difference vs the act 1 boss, for example.

What is your take on adding runes into magic or higher tier weapons/armor? Did I make a mistake adding sockets to a rare? Bc it won't let add any runes i have available for some reason. Any thoughts?

6th mistake: go look at other peoples build and ignoe what gear RNG gives you. perfect way to fck up your character :)

Ill be honest i feel like this guy barely understands the game. Your lvl 8 skill gems can take your lower level gems to level 8. Or make that skill new at lvl 8... and yes gold is hard to come by sell those blues, scrap all sockets and all useless rares. If you don't know if its better open your skill screen or character screen then equip it see if you have more things go up then down. For the ascendancy i feel is the only part he made sense to me and i stopped about half through cause i am a veteran and have some idea what I'm doing

everything youve said just makes me think i wasted $50 on getting it now and should have waited untill it was f2p. i just want a chill game, i dont want to have to google builds to be able to play the game because if i make a wrong choioce its unplayable. there should be a casual gamer god mode cheat, i dont mind 'playing' the game, but having to grind and level to get upgrades because its taken a whole day to beat a boss is starting to get annoying and a waste of money
