I know part of my difficulty is not having a stable home. I’ve been a traveling author for over 15 months now. I live in Ky I have called multiple times to get help and yes I do get my electric bill paid a few times and of course SNAP, but as far as anything else my county has no resources look it up yourself or call they will tell you this too. You could apply for grants or monies, that have ZERO to do with your state. Grants & Monies have MULTIPLE Qualifications. 1) Sex (Male or Female) Child, Teenager, Senior 2) Income 3) Military 4) Single, Widow, Divorced, Married 5) Interest 6) Some Grants have ZERO Qualifications, and are OPEN to Everyone 7) Nationality (example) almost every Nationality has money reserved for their people. Chinese, Norwegian, German, and so forth. 8) The reasons are to extensive to list; however they are also given for reasons. Medical, Dental, house repairs, home purchase, bills, food, just about everything you can think of. And some Grants are for “Anything.” I hope that this helps. Btw; If you ask your state OR county if they have “Grants” ….. they will ALWAYS say No. Even when I called the White House (for the first time), they denied this exist. NEVER use that verbiage! They despise it. Instead, try to use the “programs” name, or describe what you are needing as best you can. People will be more inclined to help , and will be glad to assist you.

You are wrong and should do your due diligence. There is plenty of help for people but you can't just make a phone call. Many of us volunteer, make relationships with philanthropists/organizations through multiple interactions, and we can't just make phone calls to make it happen usually

That's hard to do when you're exhausted from the stress of everything else going on. For instance, my husband's cancer is back and in several places this time. 😭 I'm his sole caretaker, but i have many emotional disorders that keep me from going outside, talking on phone, getting out of bed, or even texting is a struggle. The caretakers need advocates to help them, as they are overlooked and become invisible. It's lonely, exhausting and petrifying not knowing what's to come. All that zaps a person's energy, lifeforce. And it's 24/7, everyday of the year... and next year and next year, etc etc etc.... point is, we're doing good even just finding the site and links. I've made thousands of hours of calls.... and I loathe the phone. But I've spent so much of my life on hold and explaining the situation, etc etc etc, over and over.
