I bought a bag of yard he 8-1-8 and put it down this morning. A nice rain storm came through and I can't wait to see the results. I made the mixture of humic, sea kelp and liquid iron. That will go on Sunday.

@@worldpeace5853 the results have been great. My lawn is dark green and handling the heat stress very well. It's hard to say if the results are from the the fertilizer or the humic, sea kelp iron mixture. Or the combination of the two. To make myself feel better I will say both. I wish there was a way to post a picture to show my results.

I believe N-ext is cheaper. If you do the build a pack you get 4 gallons at roughly $25 a piece, or about $100 for the pack. Lawn Star gallons are $50 each.

Mushrooms usually are not bad. This more than likely still comes from overwatering. Instead of every other day for 30 min. I would aim to put down 1/2 inch either twice a week, or three times a week depending on temps.

How does that XGN fertilizer compare to Scott's Green Max as far as getting your grass dark green? The Green Max and Milorganite is the greenest I've ever gotten mine.
