Here's a little drinkypoo for you John!

I got lucky in life and I was good friend of his, barely a day passes without me thinking of him.😔 He was the nicest guy to work with and create comedy with. He was very generous he even let me use a picture of him that he sells as the trademark of my movie company. (I originally used a picture of him pretending to be drunk and he said "If you are going to use a picture of me, you might as well use a good one."😅😄😂😆) So I used a great picture of him waving and wearing a captains hat thst his wife took. It is so unfair we lost him, but his humanism will live in us forever. And no he didn't drink in real life. I think he had like one rum and coke each Christmas with his brothers and he had some goofy name for his annual drink. He had a bad back and he only smoked weed. I can't believe how many people thought he was like Mr. Lahey in real life, that always made us laugh when kids on forums would say he is "An old drunk". They could not be more wrong. John had an IQ of 1,000 and ⅜ plus he held a world record doing some form of the game "Cribbage". ✌

I've watched him for so many years and I've never felt so relieved to see someone that plays an alcoholic so well not drunk or remotely like the character he's played so so well. It made me feel very good to see him normal. I'm sure everyone else knew he was normal and I kinda assumed it but it's a good feeling to see him normally.. Awesome home as well..

wonderful little film! I don't really know Mr.Dunsworth, but a few years ago I stumbled into his yard while looking for a boat his neighbour was selling... we ended up spending a hour of so looking at his rock work, and driving around that area. This film confirms my first impressions, he is a unique and very special individual. Thanks John for the inspiration... now I really need to do something with that pile of rock in my back yard...( thinking of a pizza oven)

I have come by this video a few times and now look for your comment each time. This video is like a very peaceful memorial to me. I work with stone, and the thought of your own mortality is in the foreground whenever you make something out of stone that has the chance of having hundreds of useful years in it; compared to our very brief blip of existence on this earth. It always puts my mind at ease to see someone come to the conclusion that this man has so gleefully come to. I accept my mortality, but wish to have a reach beyond the grave. And maybe, just maybe the internet too will act as a stamp of time to mark the progression of us as individuals. To Imagine that one day my ancestors could come upon this and glean my life's intention makes me wonder. Good luck to all who wish to make their mark on the world. Concrete and granite seem like a good start.

Last year at 34 I discovered woodworknig, then I expanded to a little cement work and now gardening, I have 20 blackberries, 43 strawberries and now go vegetables. I volunteer and make dog houses for dog shelters, I made like 50 of them in one year. Sometimes I go back to this video, because tihs gentleman explained everything, we don’t know why we live and where we go, but other people, animals and this beautiful world will remain, and I feel a duty to leave something in gratitude for living on the Blue marble. Will I make a pyramid? Probably not. 🤣 But I will definitely make something out of stone, at least some small wall or maybe a bench that people can sit on for the next hundred years

@@gloriajagus4242 Haha pet rock colletion :D You know how kids throw stones before they learn to talk? We used to throw rocks to defend against predators, or to catch food. I think it is also in our genes to use stone as a building material. Get some cement and make a small flower vase out of those stones or some similar little project :D

Being 8 years old since this posted iam so sure it's way more cooler! Love this guy! His work and how much he enjoyed rocks. I live on the west coast and have been collecting rocks and so enjoy working with cement and rocks. I've made cement pillars through out the gardens and even a waterfall. We go to a near quarry and hand pick rocks for boarders around the beds too...I always find heart shaped rocks so I have quite a nice selection of hearts. Each time I find one it is God reminding me that he loves me so much!
