Ive been really enjoying finding this game and following this series. I wonder if you would find great variation success by startibg with two different fish rather than one, to help apply some pressure to the both of them.

i don't think the animals can develop limbs on their own, so starting them with fins is the only way to get land dwelling creatures Edit: I WAS WRONG LOL

How there was so much variety was because how simple the animal was, meaning it could go down many evolutionary paths, and not be stuck just a few. Kinda like how a vertebrate is likely never going to become something like an arthropod. Also, why the animals had only to legs at the front despite being so long likely was because it only evolved 2 fins.

Also, it's unlikely for an animal to evolve a limb, but more unlikely to loose one. So, just a tail so the animal can move is best. Idk why snakes lost their limbs lol.
