Get ANY Pokeball On A Regional Form by Doing THIS!

How to get any pokeball on a regional form in pokemon scarlet and pokemon violet. If you have gotten a gift in pokemon or transfer a Pokémon from an old game and its locked to a specific pickleball and you want to change the pokeball all you have to do is find the regional form of that pokemon in the current game you are playing and breed it. This pokeball trick will save you tons of time and stress.

There should be a mechanic allowing us to manually change a Pokémon's Pokéball. The qualified Poké Balls are ones you can acquire in game and excludes event mons in a Cherish Ball. Edit: the old ball breaking to prevent duplicating, such as for the Master Ball, is a great idea!

NOTE FOR ANYONE THAT WANTS A SPECIFIC NATURE ON THE REGIONAL VARIANT: Having both parents hold an everstone forces a 50/50 for the offspring to get its nature from either parent. This is how u can get the wanted nature on the variant from the local variant parent while also having the proper regional form. So in this scenario u can breed for both the right ball AND nature in one go if the preferred nature is on the regular rather than the hisui zoroark. I tested this on the galar meowth

Yes, I did indeed know this I bred for a Shiny Hisuian Zorua in a Lure Ball on Mount Glaseado Funfact, I was breeding to get a Female in a Lure Ball (Because I got a Male) and I got a shiny Unovan Zorua BEFORE I got a Female 😅

That is how you would get hidden abilities on pokemon with incompatible pokeballs back in Gen 7.

A correction to this is that you just need two Pokemon that are the same species as of Sun and Moon. You don't actually need the regional Variant to be male. I used that trick to get Hidden ability Apriball/Safari Ball pokemon and Shiny Dusk Lycanroc in a moon ball in the Alola games. The only Regional Variants it doesn't work on are Tauros as it is only male and any future regional variants that are only Male, only Female or Genderless.

This is why I caught a Basculin in a Lure Ball. Basculegion will look great in it. Dusk Ball works well too, for the Ghost-type.

Thanks for saving me from my balltism. Don't get me wrong, the strange ball looks neat, like it's a cool unobtainable, but it does not fit the look and vibe of some of the Hisuian Pokemon. Got my Zoroark in a premier ball and my Arcanine in a repeat ball with this method.

I wanted to add that if you get a hisuian zoroark, with undesireable nature its easy to change, first breed to get a female hisuian Zoroark, then breed a male basic Zoroark with the desired nature then equip both with an everstone it will always hatch hisuian variant and nature will change, it will take some tries but it actualy works.

Once you get a female H-Zorua in the ball you want, but can breed it with any male Field mon you want (as long as the female H-Zorua has the Everstone to let its offspring maintain their Hisuian form).
