I enjoy David’s story, I relate to him more than anyone in the Bible; I haven't unlived anyone for their wife or fought with lions and bears, but his sins/ imperfections and desire to please God, loving God with all his heart and being a protector yet vulnerable and needing God’s wisdom and strength. I love how God uses people that many would neglect. They're his hidden treasures, even the enemy overlooks them until God uses them for his glory. This video was right on time❤ I feel like God has done so much for me I always feel like I’m taking advantage of Him or being disingenuous when I want to return to Him after a season of disobedience. It’s definitely so powerful to remember who He is and just how much He knows, cares, and understands!! I’ve been idolizing being skinny and having a husband these past few weeks I’ve completely taken my eyes off of Him… but after church this morning (mind you I’m the worship leader chileee) and after hearing this video I feel so refreshed and back on track with seeking Him first! Wow girl! I am beyond glad you listened and was obedient to the Holy Spirit because I really needed to hear this! Lately I have been feeling like a bad steward of the things God has blessed me with, I’m so busy with school and work and by the time I come home I’m drained and don’t feel like spending time with God (praying, reading His word, etc). It has been to the point where like you said I have been becoming numb to conviction/feeling distant and lacking discipline and feel guilty to even spend time with God! Please keep me in prayer but again thank you so much🤍
