I just did laps of the Talador spawn locations for Void Talon. Fly north to south, log in next toon (one on each of the RP realms - check which are merged realms!), then in reverse. Took 2 hours to get a portal.

Just a quick note from me... as someone who plays on a RP realm, you aren't "required" to use a realistic name. There's an addon for RP character profiles where you can assign yourself a name and put in character information. Second... Long-Forgotten Hippogryph is about a 12 hour time frame or so before the five crystals all start appearing out of 100 possible spawn points. There's also an addon that can put a overlay on your map of where crystals have been found before, but it doesn't tell you the exact location of currently spawned crystals.

You can use the class trial to get Aeonaxx. I just did it yesterday. This rewards the Phosphorescent Stone Drake.

I used this trick last year to farm up all the W.O.D. mounts successfully. However, I did run into an issue farming Houlon in the timeless isle. After killing him a lot and not getting any loot what-so-ever I opened a ticket and was told a class trial cannot farm him. I'm not sure what the difference is but don't waste your time like I did. Huolon is a different kind of beast because he doesn't have a lockout. You can kill him 10 times a day and still get a loot.

This is probably hotfixed, as i farmed him in early Legion on trial char.

I killed Pathfinder and Poundfist on a 110 trial and was unable to loot them, so I'm not sure if Draenor rares can be looted with trials anymore as of patch 8.3. I logged onto my main and found Poundfist and killed him and got the mount. So far the only one I've managed to get with a trial is Long-Forgotten Hippogryph.

I give away Aeonaxx on a regular basis and always have one of the party members with me kill it since the change. the trial CANNOT loot the mount even if a person who is eligible kills it.

You CAN get mount drops just by being in a party with people on a class trial. Like the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent. Can confirm

Hi yes Alani you can loot on a class trial. But aeonaxx and time lost cant be looted by a class trial! Cant even get traded to you if you were in same grp as one that did loot the mount

I remember I did that during Legion to get the Draenor rares, and I had to bring a friend (also using a class trial) because the gear wasn't good enough for us to solo the hardest rares. Can you loot world bosses (Sha of Anger, Rukhmar, etc.) with a class trial?

Maybe someone in 2024 can help I cannot get Lelanai the Saber Handler to show up in Stormwind on my class trial Night Elf and I don't know how else to get to her in Darnassus since my class trial can't talk to Zidormi to get to old Darnassus. So if I fly there I just get teleported back to the shoreline. I am also on a level 10 Night elf and I still don't see her in Stormwind.

Do class trials have a functioning garrison? I was wondering because if they do; could we spawn garrison invasions on a class trial to have more opportunities at the garrison invasion mounts?

They dont have a garrison nor do I believe they can get one but I might be wrong on that. - Edit: I'll actually give it a shot on my trial now and let you know

@@semi6544 Well I was able to create a Garrison, although I believe invasions require a level 2 one which should be doable. The other question would be if you are able to trigger a garrison invasion, if you can even receive the loot.

Maybe you could get a friend to invite you to their garrison invasions, but there would still be an issue about being able to loot the item necessary to receive the mount.

Do you know if the 8.3 rares are obtainable this way? I've read that Malevolent Drone can be looted this way.

It was possible for corpse eater, haven't seen any changes to say it doesn't work now. It should also work for rotfeaster too if it still works for corpse eater. The vale rares on the other hand are locked behind quest phasing, you can't see them unless you've progressed far enough in the chain which trials can't do. At least this was the case when I tested it shortly after 8.3 launch

Are mounts cross-realm now? Meaning if I get a mount on one realm, it's available for toons on other realms? I didn't think that was possible.

Yup, like 99% of the mounts you can earn in the game are usable on not just any other character but also any other realm and across factions (some restrictions to this part of course). Not only that but you can also get a mount on one of your WoW Accounts on your battlenet and even use it on another WoW account as long as it's on the same Battlenet account and on the same region.

Why not do it with your main? Can you do a solo Raid with Class Trial?

The reason you'd do it with a class trial is because it allows you to check other lower population realms for less competition and you can leave the trial parked in the right location which isnt something you really want to do with your main character as you'll be playing it in other content. Unfortunately class trials cant do raids.

This is my first video about class trials and sure I could do a video on the Frightened Kodo although not much more to be said about it than whats said here honestly, 2-6 hour respawn, sticks around for 3ish mins before despawning and has 6 possible spawn locations within Darkshore

For that last one, why not make multiple class trials and have one in each zone? (Or some of your normal characters, if you can't have that many class trials?) Then if it's not up where you are, you can check a different spot by logging out instead of flying all the way there.

That's an option too, although generally you'll get more bang for your buck covering multiple different realms with class trials over the same realm and due to the limited number of class trials you can make both isn't an option.

Nope hasn't been fixed Houlon just isn't one of the mounts I mentioned as being possible with a class trial, everything I say that works with a class trial currently still does!

As discussed in the video it's to allow you to target lower populated realms for less competition. You can also leave the trials parked in spawn locations which is something you don't really want to do with a main character. Lots of benefits basically.

I don't play retail, because so easy and you can play everything what you want, and so much other reason I have why I don't play. But if u can earn easy mount and rly fast that mount is not rare. Who remember old deatcharger (0.8% drop chance) or winterspring frostsaber? Or netherwing repu farm? Every fucking day do quest and search eggs in one place and kill mobs.... In old warcraft if u want something special he can't get free. Sometimes earn in 1 Month or sometimes more than a year😂 my deatcharger was dropped more than 300 run

Thats fair enough although mostly means the video wasnt aimed at you, instead its aimed at the lesser experienced/knowledgeable players so that they are left with as few questions remaining as possible.
