What about taxes for importing from the US? The .co.uk version and the .de version have horrendous prices

Hi, the amazon.com was more like an example for US citizens while the european stores will serve EU citizens. As a Portuguese buyer, I'll prefer amazon.es because of free shipping. I also can't purchase in amazon.co.uk without taxes because of brexit. So in a way, I tried to show that you can do this in any amazon. Thanks for the comment. :)
