Millicent "Milly" Wetherby (played by the iconic Joan Crawford) finds herself defending Burt Hanson (portrayed by Cliff Robertson) from his father and ex-wife. But when Burt overhears the conversation, he gets the wrong idea and turns violent, unable to control his emotions.
