I never thought to use the enemy reset to bring back dead mission targets. You could probably also do that for Pyro and Goldbrick. Actually, could you use it to kill them multiple times and get multiple snipers/grenade launchers? Or kill and respawn the same EXO to have a better chance at getting a pilot?
