I was dreading the new water thieves, I’ve upgraded my water tank but haven’t bought the water bots cause I thought if the thieves found you your stuff is gone, didn’t realize you have to fight them for some good loot lmao. before the water thieves, I did agree with the complaints about the water system. being punished for not playing kind of sucks... but now the water thieves are super easy and just a fun little defence mission. And with the secret stash its even more forgiving because if you're new enough to be scared of the water thieves, you can spare the vast majority of your valuables and credits before starting the mission.

Excuse me, 5:10 what do you mean, 6 turrets? I've bought all three, and I've only ever found the two on the entrance/rail system, and by the crafting station.

tbh you're probably right that its not intended, but we definitely have a while before they fix this. FunDog Studios updates the game about once a month, so enjoy while it lasts!

honestly no idea why the devs choose to double down and waste development time on what is so obviously the worst and least liked mechanic of this game But hey the dead playerbase and mixed reviews say enough. Devs refuse to listen and the game dies

@@TrackstarOP I mean the main concern is what if I don't want to play for a month or two and than come back? Welcome back, go start from scratch? It doesn't really inspire people to return into the game. Water thieves are step into right direction tho

@@katus1039I’ve played for 50 hours and have about a years worth of water. Honestly I have no gripe with it. But if the devs make maybe two modes. Hardcore and casual. One makes water tick in real time but double xp or something. And casual ticks only when playing but normal xp. Idk 🤷🏻

@@masteryoji9738 imo, lack of water should not reset the base but go with other disadvantages. Characters decreased hp and healing, being slower, coughing(which attracts enemy attentions), attacks. Facilities not working etc. Like that you can increase water needs and it still would be fair and rewarding for players who actually play the game. On the other hand If I want to make a long hiatus I would not be punished for that. Right now this system doesn't really exist for active players, but punish very casual players or players who take long breaks. So I do like the system in general, I just think it should focus on other aspects and target another group of players
