Cool lesson and I'm feeling the benefits of practicing the lead hand switch but also with the sweeps between the cymbal hits and back onto the snare. A request though: I'd love to see a video of soloing over the foot ostinato! Throughout the video my mind kept anticipating and wanting (don't know why but it's what I was feeling was next after the demonstration shown). I know this guy can do so with ease and grace, I think he should upload him doing that. Just a request though, awesome lesson and perfectly broken down. Again, it's the sweeps required to voice the cymbal hits but then continuing the lead hand switch on the snare that is of great uniqness here. If you practice the pattern on a pad alone you'll develope the lead hand toggle but as orchestrated as he has in this video the challenge of sweeping from the cymbal back to the snare without missing a beat is a very cool technique indeed! 10/10

Help! Do you play both feet heels up? Your legs look so free and comfortable, if I try to play both heels up, I end up falling forward off my drum seat unless I lean far back enough to balance. If I sit WAY far back on my stool I can kind of achieve the effect that you have.... any tips based upon my poorly worded question?

Can you write out this pattern? I am having trouble with the pattern of the feet. I can get that the hihat is on 1 2 3 4 Is the bass drum on 1 2 (3) + 4 | (1)+ 2 3 (4)+ | 1 ? Feel like I am close but not exactly right...

What i think is that the bass drum is actually in 1 2 3 and 4 The hi hat is doing quarter note triplets
