I made a series of data acquisition videos 101 with AIM Sports a few years ago that might help you. They were for kart racing, but the principles are the same. (Honestly, they might be easier to understand for new people getting interested in data, because karts don't have as many channels that you have to worry about.) kzbin.info/aero/PLPfId_Ovu_d_USpk-ii0bEOfnU6wQT9fm

I HIGHLY recommend to try this out! I tried a similar program yesterday and got data from an alien at Nurburgring. Drove 5 laps and compared. ACC Nurburgring Porsche 2019, hotlap with 27 track temp, usually mid 1.56 and my best time ever is 1.55.6. I immediately noticed 3 things that i did different in almost every corner. Did 3 laps with that in the back of my mind. I did 3x 1.55.3-1.55.7 barely trying. I was stunned! Think i wont have any problem driving mid 1.54 after tonight, losing .03 seconds in 2x corners (same setup).

Similar here, realizing I sometimes didn't even push the break fully or cruising too much or not getting the slow in/fast out correctly. Basically when you think you do it right but numbers show otherwise and see a 0.3 or even more lost on a single corner...

Great video, Mike! Quite recently I purchased a license of a similar tool suite, Z1 Analyzer/Dashboard/Server. Otherwise very similar, nice to see there are free tools out there offering this crazy amount of analytical data ...

I got the same problem, Track Report Tab is black (no track layout visible). Also in the tab "Section Times", there is an error message "Could not find 'Outings:Laps:Track Sections: Default'. Is it necessary to drive some clear laps to get the correct track data? Or where does the track data comes from? Throttle, Brake, Speed and is working fine in the "Driver"-Tab
@r.c.d.creations74023 жыл бұрын
@@raumbord yeah kinda sucks that he doesn't answer questions, if you don't know all ready in ACC go to the electronics part of the car setup and then go to telemetry and set it to something like 10 laps, then it will capture those laps, as far as the track map I got it to kinda work, it shows the track BUT its just a circle not the track layout which is still useless, if I can figure out how I did it I'll let you know, just sucks that these people with knowledge won't help out the newbies.
