I’m going to Surfer’s Paradise in a few weeks and flying into Brisbane from the States. I plan on using the tram while in Surfers. Would it be worth it to get a go card once get there?

@@Razoreagle91 direct from brisbane airport to surfers you can use your credit card to tap on and off. Personally, I like the gocard to track how much I'm using but you could do this with your statement too. However, would depend on how long you're staying in surfers and other stations you'll be using. Credit card option is not available on all buses yet, so anything south of broadbeach or going to main beach will need a gocard. If you want a gocard, you can purchase the adult tickets from the machines at most stations

@@par-zs1ky I've seen translink make a big effort for lifts, escalators and ramps for wheelchairs, but I'm not really an accessibility expert to comment, and its probably best to check the translink website or give them a call to find your specific needs.

My family will visit me on 12th August. They’ll stay in brisbane for 2 nights. From August 5th, fees are going to be just 50 cents. What do you recommend for them to go around Brisbane and day trip to Gild Coast. Just buying a go-card? Is there another way we can get a cheaper option? No paper tickets anymore? Thanks!!

@@masa-fu4pk if they use the major stations like Brisbane Central, helensvale and surfers paradise, then you can just use a credit card (which is the same cost as a gocard). There are still paper tickets and you can get them at the manned stations and the big ticket machines at train station, although not sure how the new fare system will charge with paper ones
