Hello ma'am, I completed my Master's in India with distinction, achieving 80% marks. I also have one year of research experience from my Master's program, during which I wrote a thesis and passed my research project with distinction. However, my research publications are still in progress and haven't been published yet. Given my academic record, should I apply directly for a PhD and seek a scholarship, or would it be better to pursue a Master's in the UK first before applying for a PhD?
