I feel like I'm commenting a lot and I know neither of you will probably ever see this, but I just wanna say MADDIE! I was ELATED to hear more about your experience with the Elastic Heart dance/video because that video very seriously saved me at a point where my mom had been in a coma for 6 months and we didn't know if she would make it - I listened to that song every day leaving the hospital and cried and that is how I coped. That song brings me so much comfort and joy now that I have her back I cry happy tears when I hear it now and I always thought the video was so beautiful it was absolutely mesmerizing and I hated seeing the backlash. I personally felt it very unjust because it was such a beautiful piece of art, and hearing you had such a positive experience makes it even better. Thank you for what you've done for me! & Nikki, you've done so much for me too I can't even begin, thank you both immensely for your confidence and the positive, loving messages you exude.
