For Doom Eternal, it's much better to output gyro as mouse instead of right stick. That game handles mixed inputs very well. Outputting as right stick should only be done in instances where outputting as mouse does not work well with the game you're trying to play. The reason for that is the gyro is much less responsive since it's now bound to the limitations of what a stick can do.

installed handheld companion, gyro worked, but quite a few time it got conflicted with AC, making controlling messy. so I just uninstalled HC if gyro was not really required. Hope AC integrate gyro controls soon

It does work but you need to disable Armoury Crate from booting up when you login to Windows or it interferes with the gyro

This is a lot of work and fiddling. I just don't think the Ally is going to be more than a niche power user device. Software integration with the H/W has quite a heath robinson feel. Very engineer focussed. SteamOS is a lot nicer in that regard. Biggest problem with that OS are drivers for Intels new GPUs and NVidia GPUs. SteamOS is really an AMD GPU solution currently.

Not a complete solution but I mapped the Xbox button to an alternate function key. Strange thing is that it only works in Gamepad mode and not Auto mode

is theire a program that can also helo with touchapd and gyro on remote play for pc, that either can use a ds4 controller or a dualsense? Reasd cant seem to change the sensitivity. Wich is strange that reasd has no sensitivity slider for rightstick gyro. Even adapers like the Armor x pro and the Xim nexus controllers use the native stick aim curve for the gyro, and it is highly adjustable on those devices. But both devices dont allow the touchpad to be mapped.

i installed this yesterday on my ally to emulate a ps4 controller for remote play. didnt working. i already tried: VDX which works on Windows 10, doesnt work on the ally for remote play. Handle Companion emulation doesnt working on the ally for remote play. reWASD doesnt work on the ally for remote play. D4Windows doesnt detect the inbuilt controllers, so doesnt work even if i set it up for remote play. Is there a way to play remote play on the ally with the inbuild controllers? I dont want to user chiaki or any android emulation for psplay. I want to use the official playstation remote play with the inbuilt ally controllers

Handheld Companion is truly awesome. If I may be so bold, I would suggest also installing Handheld Control Panel along side it for a truly great handheld experience. For me, although I have Handheld Companion working like a charm on my dual boot (Windows 10) Steam Deck, I keep getting double input on my Win Max 2 in Steam. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd love to hear it.

Thank you very much for the help. For some reason Cemu just started not recognizing my L or R buttons only. This is only when I use the dsu controller and I have tested the buttons to make sure they work in other games. Has anyone run into this problem before?

Yea, I also get double input in Armory Crate while the Handheld Companion service is running; all I had to do was go under the Controller tab in HC and change the emulated controller from Connected to Disconnected temporarily, and that fixed it. Just change it back to Connected when you're done in Armory Crate

Have you disabled Armoury Crate from booting up when you start Windows? You need to disable it or the gyro will have issues as it conflicts with Handheld Companion's emulation.

i find the gyro (fine tune aim) combine with use of right stick is very good. i used to play a lot of console games and switch over to pc and now i cant handle a controller like i used to. so for me adding gyro is a ++ so aim down sight (activate gyro) aim with right stick and fine tune aim with gyro PERFECT

You need to exit big picture mode. Go to settings on steam, storage, then click the plus sign next to your ssd, then your sd card should show up as an option.

You really need to desolation windows and disable some services. Take a look and see how much ram is being wasted sitting idle and while gaming. That’s why you don’t have the best fps and benchmarks. My cinebench I’ve got up to 16,215 and I’m getting 100 fps in modern warfare. I have zero performance issues with 319 bios as you claim yours has which could easily be attributed to your system wasting all its ram on background services that would be fine for a desktop but not with an ally that’s sharing its ram already with the gpu
