Well, here's another tip: 9 PM is just when customers stop spawning, but they still need to walk from their spawn point to the store. You should keep your store open until customers stop actually coming in. edit2: A little late, but another hot tip: you can move the computer into the storage room to get a bit more space into your store.

Arin needs to take a day to organize his stockroom, he's losing his sanity buying random amounts of random items and not knowing where he stocks them. Keeping a set amount of room (eg 4 boxes in stock + 2 boxes worth of shelf) is what makes this thing manageable. That being said, it's funny seeing him run around frantically, so Keep it Up Arin!

I usually get around 5 customers walking in after 9pm and they usually spend an average of 100-ish dollars each, which means I'm making an extra 500 bucks or so by not closing the store right at 9. Arin doesn't need a money mod, he needs to just not close the store right at 9pm lol. Also pricing everything slightly higher than market value. 10 cents higher on cheap stuff, 20-25 cents higher around the 5 dollar mark, 50-75 cents higher around the 10 dollar mark-etc. It's around 7-10% markup

Top up your racks and let the boys restock *before* you open the store. For smaller items you probably don't need four entire shelves' worth of display space. Just some advice to decrease your blood pressure.

The BAFFLING thing about this playthrough is that you need a constant 'float' of money to run a store, so you can make sure to buy needed stocks, cover overhead, etc - but Arin, for no comprehensible reason, every time he manages to make some money, blows it immediately on unimportant things... then is somehow shocked that he is low on stock and can't buy more. He's not learning. I don't know why. At an early stage in the game like these fella are at, if you end the day with $500 in-hand, that does NOT mean ok, you HAVE to go and blow it immediately, it means you now have a comfortable margin to start the next day.

I’m just now realizing how backwards arins organization OCD is. He puts like products next to each other in the store, but doesn’t organize the warehouse, putting items like the multiple types of flour across the entire room and never seemed to account for how many of one box shape can fit in one section of the rack.

I had my first MAJOR bug and panic playing this on Sunday. I'd just reorganized my store, bought the refrigerated meat/sushi product license, bought fridges for it, AND bought all the new products- leaving me with about $130. And then... THE PRODUCTS DIDN'T SHOW UP. There were NO boxes outside. And the stockers were just standing around. There was no way I was going to open the store and have all the customers be mad that they couldn't find that many products. Even after reloading the game, they were gone!! So I had to take out a loan to buy the new stuff again... And then I found out that the previous order had...spawned on the storage racks. For some reason. So then I had Arin levels of Backstock.

You can move the computer into Storage if you have the room. There's a mod called "Auto Shelf Boxes", that with a press of a button will shelve the Street boxes for you. Lastly, if "ASB" is too cheaty, there's Resizable Labels and Informative Labels which make them easier to see at least.

I let my nephew play games on my Laptop, told him not to play this game since it will delete my save. He later came to me and asked how does he exit this game since he doesn't want to play it anymore. He apologized when reminded him, and I found a way to get my supermarket back. I hope Arin continues playing this game at least until the end of the year.
