(excerpt from an FBI-ERD dispatch memo) Mimic sighting and contact incident On June 21st, at approximately 1900 hours, the State Police of [REDACTED] received an anonymous call about a possible mimic attack, the anonymous caller mentioning an abandoned car being found, with clear signs of violence present. Two state troopers, named Nathan and Marley (see attached ID files for more details), were dispatched, both arriving at the scene at around 2150 and 2200 hours, located at [REDACTED], approximately 5,35 miles northwest of [REDACTED]. The crime scene was reported to largely match the anonymous caller's description, with an abandoned car (Model: Volkswagen Polo (Mk1 or Mk2), license ID: K3H 53D) by the roadside and a moderately sized pool of blood, a cigarette and a handbag next to it. The victim is reported to be a 37-year-old single woman. No body or parts thereof was found at the crime scene, but given the nature of Mimics, she is to be presumed deceased. While Officer Nathan secured the crime scene and filed the report, Officer Marley drove around the area, stopping at the places marked on the provided map, and questioned several of the locals, before driving up the cabin in the woods (see attached Map 2 for location) to investigate a lead provided by a homeless man, arriving at said cabin at around 2213 hours. Once at the cabin, Officer Marley reported hearing screaming and wailing from the woods nearby and moved over to investigate. It is possible that the screams came from the aforementioned victim, but this cannot be confirmed or denied at this time without further investigation. At 2218-2219 hours, (see attached Map 3 for precise location) Officer Marley made contact with a Mimic, probably the same one responsible for the earlier roadside murder. The recorded bodycam footage shows that Officer Marley was able to neutralize the Mimic with his issued firearm, proving decisively that these entities can be harmed and killed by ordinary kinetic weapons. ERD field operatives arrived on-site at approximately 2230 hours, to place the area under quarantine and to secure and recover all entity material. Field operatives report that all possible paranormally-influenced material has been secured and that the area has been thoroughly searched and can be considered safe for public use again. Officers Nathan and Marley and the homeless man (Identity withheld) will be held for further questioning. Recovered paranormal material, including the intact corpse of the Mimic, is to be transferred to Black site KXTA. All publications of the incident in mass media, both truthful and misleading, are to be monitored. (end of excerpt)

Ohboy, not the weirdos at the ERD again! 😂 I suppose they should be the experts in Mimic sightings, it does fit the bill of an entity after all. Wow, the details, immaculate! I don't think any response I could write would do it justice, that was a joy to read. I legitimately believe it was written by the ERD! They may take part in some very questionable and morally messed up practices, but dang if they can't create an incredible write-up of events (I mean, as they should. They do tend to put cameras everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE) Another amazing cross-over, thank you for taking the time to write it up, exactly the comfy literature I needed to read before bed. Appreciate you refreshing my memory of that terrible Mimic encounter ;)
