Dying to Pyrope isn't a shame, it *is* your first playthrough after all, but i really hope you don't die to every single DELTARUNE enemy (especially Jevil and [Spamton] lol) Oh, Muffet... To have a first playthrough again... I shan't talk about the Core. After all, it's rude to talk about someone who's listening.

I highly recommend doing the Undyne hangout session at her house. It's got some funny and kind of heartfelt moments imo. I know you're very far into Hotland, but you won't be able to get the real Pacifist ending unless you do all the hangouts (one of which you can't get until after you're 1st run). That ending is very worth it too.

I know this game is meant to rip off The Clapper - a device of which I only know about because of Michael MJD - but if this game is truly an object of the 1980s, then control via X10 is likely the home automation suite they were going after. X10 was groundbreaking for the time, that's for sure.

(excerpt from an FBI-ERD dispatch memo) Mimic sighting and contact incident On June 21st, at approximately 1900 hours, the State Police of [REDACTED] received an anonymous call about a possible mimic attack, the anonymous caller mentioning an abandoned car being found, with clear signs of violence present. Two state troopers, named Nathan and Marley (see attached ID files for more details), were dispatched, both arriving at the scene at around 2150 and 2200 hours, located at [REDACTED], approximately 5,35 miles northwest of [REDACTED]. The crime scene was reported to largely match the anonymous caller's description, with an abandoned car (Model: Volkswagen Polo (Mk1 or Mk2), license ID: K3H 53D) by the roadside and a moderately sized pool of blood, a cigarette and a handbag next to it. The victim is reported to be a 37-year-old single woman. No body or parts thereof was found at the crime scene, but given the nature of Mimics, she is to be presumed deceased. While Officer Nathan secured the crime scene and filed the report, Officer Marley drove around the area, stopping at the places marked on the provided map, and questioned several of the locals, before driving up the cabin in the woods (see attached Map 2 for location) to investigate a lead provided by a homeless man, arriving at said cabin at around 2213 hours. Once at the cabin, Officer Marley reported hearing screaming and wailing from the woods nearby and moved over to investigate. It is possible that the screams came from the aforementioned victim, but this cannot be confirmed or denied at this time without further investigation. At 2218-2219 hours, (see attached Map 3 for precise location) Officer Marley made contact with a Mimic, probably the same one responsible for the earlier roadside murder. The recorded bodycam footage shows that Officer Marley was able to neutralize the Mimic with his issued firearm, proving decisively that these entities can be harmed and killed by ordinary kinetic weapons. ERD field operatives arrived on-site at approximately 2230 hours, to place the area under quarantine and to secure and recover all entity material. Field operatives report that all possible paranormally-influenced material has been secured and that the area has been thoroughly searched and can be considered safe for public use again. Officers Nathan and Marley and the homeless man (Identity withheld) will be held for further questioning. Recovered paranormal material, including the intact corpse of the Mimic, is to be transferred to Black site KXTA. Well, that's great. For once, there was nothing supernatural going on with this "haunted house". Just a rather unusual real estate scam. I guess that saves me the trouble of having to summon the "appropriate authorities", and can just hand this matter over to the police. Ah, well. At least we made it out alive from this, with just a slight scare and some violence. Such a shame that the general store manager was involved in this. What is it with these small out-of-the-way general stores and convenience stores always being such a magnet for bad things happening in them, near them or otherwise related to them. Also, you said that dumping your garbage in someone else's dumpster is illegal. HAH! You should have seen what I and my father did a decade ago when building our house. The construction predictable produced a great deal of rubbish and refuse, and it would have been painfully expensive to dispose of it ourselves. So my father, being the savvy chap he is, came up with a plan. We collected all of the construction waste into big black sacks, loaded them onto a trailer and then we waited until nightfall. Once night had come, the sun had set and darkness covered the land, we started our round and then we drove around town, quietly dumping our garbage bags into other people's empty dumpsters, and then silently making off like bandits in the night. We stuck to the shadows and visited many different places remote and off the beaten track, and by the end of it all, we had arrived back home, with all our rubbish disposed of and nobody any the wiser. Well, what can I say. Humans are bastards. Absolute utter bastards! Seems like the only way you can make people behave and not be total savages is with strong authority and proper civilized laws. It is actually a rather frightful thought. Meat, especially meat left in the open without preservatives, spoils and goes rancid really fast, meaning that very soon after such an apocalypse, the only way to obtain fresh meat would be to kill something for it. This gets especially bad if you also happen to be in an apocalypse that has decimated all wildlife and formerly domesticated animals. In that case, the moment you hear "fresh meat", there is a very high chance that it is referring to human meat! "The secret of long pork pies" is not a secret most would want to know, and fewer still would outright embrace it. But when they do, they always become some the most striking examples of human depravity, and of how low into barbarism we as a species can descend when circumstances drive us that way. Dreadful. I think I have an idea about what happened to bring about this apocalypse. It is too long to explain here, but if you want to, I can give you two links to a pair of KZbin videos that might shed some light on what caused the apocalypse in the first place. A terrible turn of events, but I suppose that is to be expected, in the post-apocalyptic wastelands. It would not be called apocalyptic for nothing. I will see you again some other time.
