I have washed our tennis shoes in the washer for years. My oldest is going to be 35. I usually wash them with a regular load but I never dry them. I take them out and put them on top of the washer. They are dry by the next day. We have expensive shoes and cheapie shoes and don't have any issues. I have a pair of addidas that I wear to mow the lawn and I wash them almost every week. I'd make sure I didn't wash your pretty pink ones with anything dark.

The boys are getting so big! We don't have Kids yet, but we just got back today from a 2,5 week trip to the french alps and it was so beautiful! I loved it there and we stayed at a little appartment there up in the mountains. Where we live in the Netherlands it is so flat, so the vieuws were breath taking!

I pack the same way you did we didn't have iPad but we had books and 6 packs of Crayola crayons. I cleaned up the night before and prepare travel clothes at night too. Whenever I go out or travel, I always bring my weekly pill organizer with me. It reminds me to take it daily. Amazon has variety of pill organizers to choose from. Hope it helps!

I love to see the big brothers taking care after Levi, how Kyle feeds him, and his brother gives him his stuffed toys, it melts my heart. Kyle looks so mature for his age. You are sure raising very good kids. Very well planned and packed suitcases. Only tne essentials. I always pack to much things.

Oh Hannah this brought back memories. Bought my 7 year old son a road atlas so I didn't hear when are we going to be there? We went from Dallas to Rapid City, SD to visit my sister. Then asked him questions. Great purchase. Have a great visit with your family and friends. Safe travels.

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this, but I wash our sneakers in the washing machine and then air dry them. I pretreat any stains and the shoes come out looking amazing! I'll either wash all our sneakers at once or put them in with our cleaning/ratty towels.

It’s always amazing how much you can get done! This is an awesome video for vacations with young ones. Mine are 40 now (twins), but it was very helpful to have multiple bags of busy toys and snacks. Thank you for sharing. Your boys are so cute. Enjoy your trip!

Everyone had 1 outfit per day, except for the pants and skirts. The boys wore a few pairs of pants two days in a row. And I brought three skirts and just wore each skirt two days in a row 😊

I wish I could come home to a clean house from a trip...but there's only me...I spent my working days cleaning OTHER people houses! When you did the snack pack I was like almonds 😬 I won't pack any kind of nuts to snack on a plane because there could be someone on the plane who could get an anaphylactic shock from even just smelling almond or any kind of nut! I am having a holiday myself to the Cotswolds... Only a couple hours drive away for me!

In Brazil we have sinks in the laundry room to wash clothes, shoes. In the USA this is not common, is it? But it helps a lot.

Wonderful and informative video, so may tips and tricks for packing and traveling. Please what about toiletries:shampoo, lotions, deodorant, hair brushes?These take up so much space, but I always want my own toiletries on trips. Thank you.

I forgot to share that portion! We try to just take what we need, we take travel sized toiletries and all share the same bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, and lotion. And just put all the toiletries, deodorants, and toothbrushes in a small ziplock baggie. I have a separate bag for my hair products to fix my hair. And that was pretty much it. If I’m packing light I try to just take minimal items
