Sometimes, the most amazing change is just what you have been doing- washing down all the surfaces, ding paint touch ups or repainting walls and trim and decluttering and putting things away. Transformations do not have to be new furniture or decor or curtains or bedding, just the maintenance from everyday living. Great job and everything does look fresh and new!

I moved into my rental about a month ago and I could have waited and have them paint the place before moving in but I wanted to move in asap so told them it's ok - they don't need to. I plan to paint our bedroom and the living and dining. I have been putting it off because it’s hot and I’d rather enjoy summer. I’m sick of white in bedroom so I’ve chosen a light grey green for bedroom and warm white for living and dining. I know it will take a full two days. To get it done. I love the look of a fresh paint job. Our place is desperately needing it.

I commented on your last video that it seemed like the nudge from the universe I needed to do my own paint touch ups I had been thinking about…. Then I promptly ripped the corner edge off our island backing and had to replace the whole back (which was on the list but much lower down lol). It looks amazing now tho! I've never noticed a problem with it personally! I set the dehumidifier going and that helps it to dry fast 🙂

Kay Why don’t you put a bi-folding door on your cupboard in your bedroom, quite cheap and would make the area feel finished and you could leave the doors open to let air circulate but you can close the door to make the area look fresh and tidy

How are you able to paint your house with cats? Does it not irritate them?

You’ve left me a few messages on instagram too questioning things I do while having cats… you just have to use common sense and know your own cats. I’ve had my cats for three years and have had no issues. Don’t put toxic flowers in places they can access, if you can’t trust them not to eat them then don’t bring them into your home. My cats have never eaten my flowers and the same applies when they’re in the garden. Don’t use toxic paints, use water based or if you have to use stronger paint with more fumes then close them out and make sure the area is well ventilated. Hope that eases some of your anxiety.

There was no reason to, it sits far away from the wall so I could get all the way around it, the paint I was using was really good and didn't splash or drip at all! Was really impressed, made painting much easier. As for the cushions, same applies! Honestly just wanted it done by that point 🙈😂 It is water based so worst case scenario the sofa and cushion covers are washable, so not the end of the world. 🙂
