As you can see from many other commenters, we in the U.S. are having major garden center envy. Ah, to have a cafe in a garden center - does life get any better? Chin up - you've had a busy year with wedding planning and sometimes when something as big as that is over, it leaves a void, causing a person feel a bit at loose ends. The winter doesn't help matters. You have such an adorable home life - you'll get the pep back in your step come spring. 🌼 🌱 🌺

Lovely cozy day! I think you have plenty of space to grow some vegetables. My garden is smaller than yours I think and I grow quite a bit with the square foot gardening method. It’s all in pots or big boxes (like 120x60cm). It’s absolutely amazing what you can grow on a very small surface.

I have 2 ragdolls next to me plus our 3 other cats. We also have 2 dogs, 3 chickens and 2 cockatiels and some tropical fish. I used to have a white cat named Casper many years ago. Our white cat we have now is named Kimba.

Charming video Kay; makes a person smile:) Can't potter in garden yet here as we are covered in snow and had -40C weather a couple of weeks ago, sleet 2 days ago and snow still covering the ground. I have a friend who grows Jerusalem artichokes . It's a delicious vegetable and easy to grow but more important (for me anyways) it grows as tall as sunflowers and has beautiful yellow flowers akin to daisies. Fabulous to plant along a fence, shed, stone wall, etc... Perhaps you would want to look into that?

It’s so nice to see all the new buds and greenery growing there. I live in Maine, USA and I’m still firmly encased in snow. It starts to melt and then along comes more 😂. We don’t start seeing buds on trees until late March/early April. But at least it is on the way 😊

Dark chocolate is my addiction! I too am itching to get outside and dig in the dirt. I live in the US, in Maryland, and the weather has been such a tease. One day it’s 36 degrees and the next 68 degrees. Geez Mother Nature is so confusing😁. I love the garden shop you visited. Wish we had that here in the US.
