Get light on a Onewheel

#Wheeltalk reviews a Burris 6.0 tire. I will explain how to carve like a professional. When you Get Light on the onewheel this allows the board climb over most terrain. When I get light I lift my body weight up.

One week in with 130 miles so far (experienced snowboarder before this), and I wanted to say you're comments about being light on your feet is spot on. This skill will also allow you to be comfortable going very slow on rutty, uneven ground and grass. Craft and Ride just shipped this Tire to me. Great vid.

Ive watched a couple of your videos. I like them, you give more info on stance than others. But I am old, near 60 dont know what "getting light" means. Help an old man out talk to me like Im your grandfather! I have a Pint and an XR. XR is now my grocery getter.

No worries brother. It's my pleasure to share the stoke. What I mean by get light is to almost jump off the board before right before I roll over a bump. I weight around 280lbs when I'm geared up so I try to lighten the load so the OW motor doesn't have as much strain. It allows me to maneuver big tree roots and even smaller curbs. This is a 5.0 Ego. I love it. I also roll with a 7.5 which gives me close to 30 miles and 23 of those miles are full torque. Thanks for viewing 😃🤙🏼 I

Where do you look in order to know that you running low and need to charge? with the parallel kit can you just swap an Ego when you are running low or do you try to charge the batteries together? I just got a VnR kit for my plus and looking to learn more before i do anything with mine. Thank you

Ive been reading alot of people saying the 6.0 rubs did you find this?

It definitely does at first unless you ride at 18psi. The rubbing comes from the new tire nipples and didnt do any harm to my OW. I have 700ish miles on it now and ride at 45psi without any rubbing or issues. Don't let the rubbing hold you back.

I just switched to the Burris and it feels way more square than my worn Vega did. What PSI are you running I have mine at 22 and it feels good but def less carve than my Vega was.

I agree. I couldn't inflate it past 20 without rubbing. Now that I have 400 miles plus I ride it at 35 to maximize the range.

@@NicholasWheeltalk how do you think the range on your current setup would compare to the stock vega? did you do the tire change yourself? Also is that the parallel ranger kit?

I did do the tire change myself. It's not too difficult. Range will always be better with a slick compared to a treaded tire. I'm guessing with a vega you would get an additional 2-3 miles. I don't like the stock vega so I feel the decrease in range is well worth it. The Burris also works well in the snow.
