Brad thanks your awesome, all in we are at $950... we are gonna have to take both trucks to Sams tomorrow. They feed 150-170 families a week and been getting most stuff from churches, but churches shut down so that’s fallen off, just lucky with our timing but it couldn’t be better!!!!!

A little note about props with a ding: NEVER file them with a file to "clean it up to run until you have time to get it repaired." Normal files that we have access to are carbon steel. Filing your high-dollar stainless prop with a carbon steel file contaminates the metal, and THAT makes it a real pain for the prop repair shop to provide the best repair. If they do it right, they have to take the time to remove the contamination you introduced. I've been told time and again by repair shops to just leave it alone and let them do it.

Great video, I got a kick at the ending. Balancing left to right made a big difference in how my boat handles.

Thanks Ken for another nice video, funny thing is I have been looking at way to get a better hole shot out of my little Nitro. After doing some research, I'm pretty confident that I'm running the wrong pitch prop. But I'm also going to look at moving some weight around.

I added solar panel and electric motors and it made sense to have the two AGM batterys at the front of the boat for balancing and I think its better on ruff seas 🌊
@KenSmithFishing Жыл бұрын
what do they charge?
@chadellett4696 Жыл бұрын
@@KenSmithFishing the solar charges the 24volts battery that runs the electric motors

Are you sure you had the trim optimized when you made that speed run? The boat seemed to be sitting a bit flat. Do you think you could get a little more out of it?
@KenSmithFishing4 жыл бұрын
Maybe with better water, got pretty bouncy
@txman2014 жыл бұрын
@@KenSmithFishing I must apologize for not being clear in my comment. I was referring to the boat looking like it was sitting a little flat when you got it up to 80 mph. I was thinking you might sqeeze a little more out of that barge with more trim. 🤓

Another great video Ken, keep it up. I also follow Jimmy Houston and today’s bible verse was - Matthew 25:45 -He will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' Great reminder to help people in need and my contribution will be sent shortly to your PayPal account. Thank you for taking the lead and providing help where it’s needed. Have a great day!
